Shipping Classic Car Battery Orders:
Most classic car batteries are built by hand and built in the order they are received. These items will say, Available. Normally it takes 8-12 weeks to have a battery built and shipped, if everything goes smoothly, directly from the manufacturer to you by UPS ground. Some of these batteries we stock in our warehouse usually ship in 1-5 days. These items will say, In Stock.  Please check the “Shipping and Delivery” tab on the page of each battery for the most current estimated shipping time.

Since most batteries aren’t in stock there are three ways to make your purchase.  1) Place your orders online with a credit card.  Ordering this way you are charged at the time of purchase.  2) Place your order online by selecting the option to “delay payment until near shipping”.  We will then invoice you for payment 2-3 weeks before the estimated time your battery is schedule to ship.  After you make the payment there still could be delays in production which means your battery won’t ship in the 2-3 weeks that was estimated.  3) Calling us to place your order over the phone. By calling us you won’t be charged until your battery is close to being shipped. Still, this will be an estimated ship date.  These batteries are shipped by the manufacture to you so we don’t have an exact ship date.

Some of the delays are due to suppliers not filling the orders fast enough with the components to build the batteries. Also, during the spring and summer months it can take several weeks longer due to the higher demand for these batteries. Everything is done to get the batteries built and shipped as fast as possible.

Since Covid, the delays in shipping these classic car batteries has really been terrible.  We understand our customers frustrations because we are just as frustrated as you are.  But there is hope in the near future because we see some positive things coming.  So, don’ give up on your classic car batteries just yet.

Also, there is a $79 shipping charge when shipping these batterie to Canada or Mexico.  Because of boarder issues with Mexico we currently can’t ship to Mexico.
